Hicham Lasri

Hicham Lasri was born on April 13, 1977 in Casablanca . After studying law and economics, Hicham Lasri began a career as a screenwriter with many Moroccan directors before making his first works that would bring a fresh wind to the North African cinema and very quickly international recognition at many festivals such as Berlin, Toronto and Cannes. He also publishes several plays and novels including Sainte Rita (2015 Le fennec) and a BD vaudoo (2016 Le fennec)
